My musings this weekend, and something that's been on my mind recently: Perhaps this thing called social media--our vastly interconnected world via the internet--will one day open out onto some expansive new horizon that's wholly good and positive. But in the meantime, I believe that our mission, if we choose to accept it, is to become masters of ourselves--of our attention, our time, and our intention in this digital age. To become conscious of the technology that's arisen in our lifetimes, to *use* it for and from the essence of one's self, rather than to be used by it.
