Sitting at home this evening, the warmth of the day giving way to cool breezes, I reflect on the beauty of nature. I recall when I was a young girl walking among the lilies of the valley, and sheltered by a great oak...and now...fifty years later, we have precious time left to revitalize this earth and its creatures. Our uniquely human capacity for awe and love - for all living things - is more needed than ever on this beautiful blue orb called Earth.
A meditation on the preciousness of life...and our love for living things.
